Since joining Versiti, Jim has led important work in organizational design, talent calibration and succession planning. Jim is focused on ensuring that the organization’s evolution toward One Versiti is enabled by an effective talent strategy. He is responsible for driving key human capital strategies, including leadership and organizational development, employee engagement, cultural transformation, talent acquisition, total rewards, and succession planning.
Jim has more than 25 years of experience in organizational, team and employee development with a variety of companies and within multiple industries. Prior to Versiti, he served as vice president of human resources with Baxalta, a spinoff of Baxter International, where he led a European re-organizational effort for the $2 billion immunology business and developed innovative employee engagement strategies to drive employee retention and manage operational risk.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA. He and his wife Rosie enjoy the city life in Milwaukee. He has two grown children, Lexie and Mark. Prior to living in Milwaukee, Jim worked and lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He most recently moved to Illinois in 2002 and raised his kids with Midwest values. Jim enjoys playing golf and tennis and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
