Volunteer delivery drivers ensure timely transportation of urgent blood and blood products to local hospitals.

Donor center volunteers welcome blood donors and begin paperwork prior to the blood donation process. Donor center greeters and café volunteers monitor donors for post-donation reactions while serving refreshments and delivering on our promise of the Versiti Way of Serving.

Blood drive volunteers welcome blood donors at community blood drives and begin paperwork prior to the blood donation process. They monitor donors for post-donation reactions while serving refreshments. Café-only volunteers monitor for post-donation reactions.

Versiti Organ and Tissue volunteers raise awareness of the need for organ, tissue and eye donors; educate the public on the positive impact organ, tissue and eye donation has in Wisconsin communities; and help people sign up on the Wisconsin Donor Registry. Volunteers support Versiti Organ and Tissue in several ways:
- Outreach/registration table staff
- Driver’s ed. presenter
- Office and project support
- Public speaking
- Threads of Compassion knitting group
- Dottie Donor Dot mascot and guide
- Special events

- Is 16+, with parental consent (21+ for volunteer drivers)
- Successfully passes a criminal background check
- Has exceptional customer service skills
- Works well on a team
- Is mature and reliable
