Kim’s heroic eight-year experience with cancer began in 2012 when she was diagnosed with a 1-in-a-million stage IV cancer. Though the initial prognosis was scary, Kim battled with fierce determination, strength and grace. During the final months of Kim’s treatments, she was receiving platelet transfusions almost daily.

Kim left us in March 2020, but her inspiration lives on in the A Pint for Kim movement. Honor her memory by donating lifesaving blood for other brave fighters at this year’s A Pint for Kim Blood Drives.
