Brian brings a diverse set of leadership experience and problem-solving skills to the Versiti. He is an experienced team leader and strategic thinker across marketing, sales and corporate strategy. Brian has a strong clinical background and has dedicated his 20+ year career to healthcare, with a focus on serving patients, providers and the individuals he leads. Since April 2018, he has served the blood operations team as chief operating officer.

Prior to his career at Versiti, Brian served as area vice president at Shire, leading an institution-based plasma franchise through significant internal culture changes, navigating the dynamic healthcare landscape. Throughout his assignments at Abbott, Abbvie, Baxalta and Shire, Brian demonstrated a track record of high achievement and delivering results, building high-performing teams and inspiring leaders. At Versiti, Brian focuses on building new capabilities for the operation with a focus on communication, training and change management.

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Brian attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his undergraduate studies, earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, and completed his MBA at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Brian and his wife, Thrisha, make a home in Mundelein, IL, where they spend most of their time coaching and cheering for their three children Brandon, Brody and Taylor on the baseball diamond, hockey rink, basketball court or soccer field. Brian also enjoys traveling and playing golf.
