OSU Greek Giveback Challenge

When Greek Life Gives Back, Lives are Saved

The Greek Giveback Challenge is a friendly competition where Ohio State fraternities and sororities go head-to-head to see who can inspire the most blood donors — turning Buckeye spirit into lifesaving action and making a real difference in the community.

The Reward: Grants that Give Back

Rather than trophies or titles, participating chapters compete for grant funding of up to $8,000 to support their own philanthropic causes or campus initiatives.

Two winners will be crowned: grants will be awarded to top-performing chapters based on total number of donations collected and percentage of member involvement. Every donation matters — and every chapter contributes to saving lives in our local hospitals.

 

The Hoodie that Saves Lives

Everyone who donates will get the new OSU Battle Champs hoodie to rep their Buckeye spirit and their contribution to saving lives.

How to Participate

Chapter members can donate blood at the 15+ blood drives occuring across campus during the Greek Giveback Challenge from February 16-March 13. Donors will designate their donation toward the chapter of their choice at the blood drive, so you can recruit friends, classmates, and roommates to donate for your chapter too!
