Blood Recipient LiLi’s Mom Says Thanks

“I’m grateful. Our family will forever be blood donors,” says LiLi’s mom, Kati.

Thank you for donating blood! Thanks to your gift, children like LiLi have the blood they need to fight devastating blood diseases.

Every day, blood donors make a difference in the lives of patients like LiLi, who received chronic blood transfusions to treat pure red cell aplasia, a condition in which her bone marrow doesn’t produce enough red blood cells.

“It became our mission, because we saw how donors were sustaining her life,” says LiLi’s mom, Kati. “We are grateful, thankful and fortunate, and believe in Versiti’s mission that rallies people around blood donation.”
