Ozaukee County Battle of the Badges

Save lives, support your favorite first responder team

Ozaukee County’s Fire, Police and Sheriff departments join forces for the Battle of the Badges – a friendly competition to inspire blood donations when seconds count.

The Battle is on! Ozaukee County first responders are rallying our community to make January a month that saves lives. Every donation helps patients at local hospitals and beyond – from trauma and surgery to cancer treatment and emergency care.

In this month-long challenge to save lives, your donation doubles as a vote for your favorite first responder team. Donate at any Versiti donor center or Ozaukee County blood drive in January – and use your team’s code to cast your vote.

Watch the battle unfold as our first responders champion this lifesaving cause. The agency that inspires the most lifesaving blood donations wins!

How it Works (Simple as 1-2-3):

  • Make an appointment at any Ozaukee County blood drive or Versiti donor center between January 1-31, 2026.
  • Enter your agency code in your online appointment notes, or tell our team at check-in:

    GRAFTON POLICE
    CEDARBURG POLICE
    OZAUKEE COUNTY SHERIFF
    CEDARBURG FIRE
    THIENSVILLE POLICE
    MEQUON POLICE
    PORT WASHINGTON POLICE

  • One donation = one vote. Your donation counts toward your chosen agency. At month’s end, the agency with the most votes wins the Battle of the Badges.
