West Michigan Alumni Blood Bowl

Show Off Your School Spirit While Saving Lives

Four universities – Michigan State University, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame and The Ohio State University – might be rivals on the field, but their local West Michigan alumni clubs are coming together in a friendly challenge to save lives this offseason.

Between Tuesday, November 15, 2022, and Thursday, December 15, 2022, volunteers are encouraged to donate blood at any of the Versiti Blood Center of Michigan donor centers on behalf of their alumni club to count towards the West Michigan Alumni Blood Bowl competition. May the best school win!

Here's how to help your alumni club win:

  1. Schedule your blood donation appointment above or by calling 866-642-5663, and be sure to include your alumni club code (MSU, UM, ND or OSU).*
  2. Invite your friends and family to donate. Share the love as you share the lifesaving gift of blood together.

*Donors must have their alumni club codes entered prior to donating to count toward the competition.

The four alumni codes options to include in the appointment note are:

  • MSU-Michigan State University
  • UM-University of Michigan
  • ND-University of Notre Dame
  • OSU-The Ohio State University

Don't forget to show your school spirit on donation day by wearing your collegiate apparel!
