It’s the biggest battle off the field: the Hope College Dutchmen vs. the Calvin University Knights in a Blood Battle competition. Which school will collect the most blood donations for Michigan patients?

Do you bleed orange or maroon? The first-ever battle is happening now, ending on November 6^th with a big on-campus blood drive at each school.

Here’s how to show your support:

1. Make an appointment to donate blood at your local Versiti donor center and tell us whether you bleed orange or maroon by entering the promo code “Knights” or “Dutchmen” in the online appointment notes.
2. Or donate at the Nov. 6 blood drive at your school. Blood donors at these drives will receive a special commemorative Blood Battle T-shirt, while supplies last.

Starting Oct. 28 through the end of the battle on Nov. 6, all participants will be entered into our sweepstakes for a chance to win two tickets to the Detroit Lions home game on Sunday, 11/17!*
