Versiti - Versiti Employees Led the Way on Invest in Hope, Now We're Inviting You

Before Versiti Asked the World to Invest in Hope, We Asked the People Who Know This Work Best

Milwaukee — March 02, 2026

At Versiti, the belief that blood research saves lives isn't just part of our mission. It's personal. Before we opened our doors to the public, before we asked our community to join us in something bold, we asked ourselves.

And the answer was extraordinary.

Last year, Versiti colleagues participated in the Hope Starts Here employee giving campaign, an internal effort rooted in a simple but powerful conviction: that advancing blood research changes lives, and that each of us has a role to play in making that happen. Employees gave not because they were asked to fill a goal, but because they believe in the work happening every day within Versiti Blood Research Institute (VBRI). For nearly 80 years, that work has unlocked breakthroughs in blood diseases, cancers, and immune disorders that affect millions of families across the country.

The results speak to that belief. Together, Versiti colleagues surpassed the campaign's $250,000 goal, raising a combined $356,492.

And now, we're building on it.

This year, Versiti is proud to publicly launch Invest in Hope, our capital campaign dedicated to accelerating discovery across blood health. At its heart is the expansion of the Versiti Blood Research Institute, a 79,000-square-foot expansion project that will approximately double our research capacity, attract new scientific investigators, and create the conditions for breakthroughs that will reverberate worldwide.

The campaign began with our own people. Now, we invite our community to carry it forward.

Whether you're a donor, a patient, a family member, or simply someone who believes that science and compassion belong together, there is a place for you in this effort. The work we fund today will shape the treatments of tomorrow. And the hope that drives our researchers, our clinicians, and our colleagues can now extend to you.

Hope starts here. And together, we can take it further.
