Unidos por la Vida: Be the Reason Hope Arrives in Waukesha

Waukesha — October 17, 2025

In a call to action during Hispanic Heritage Month, Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin has partnered with La Casa de Esperanza to launch the Unidos por la Vida — United for Life campaign. From Oct. 17 to 31, every blood donation at Versiti’s Waukesha Donor Center will trigger a $25 gift from Versiti to La Casa de Esperanza, up to a total of $5,000.

The campaign aims to achieve 200 donations in two weeks, turning generosity into tangible support for local families and education programs. Each donation is presented as a lifeline, with the campaign described as uniting Waukesha’s community spirit with a life-saving mission.

“At Versiti, we believe hope is most powerful when it’s shared,” said Gretchen Jameson, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Versiti Blood Centers. “Through Unidos por la Vida, every donor becomes a hero twice over—saving patients’ lives and strengthening the families and neighborhoods that make Waukesha such a vibrant place to live.”

La Casa de Esperanza, founded in 1966, is described as one of Waukesha County’s largest and most trusted human-service organizations, offering programs in education, workforce development, financial stability and family support.

Donors are invited to schedule appointments at versiti.org/Waukesha or by calling 1-877-BE-A-HERO and use the word “Casa” in their appointment notes.
