Daniel’s Legacy Lives On Through Every Life He Saved

Daniel was curious, funny, and determined. On the day of his second solo flight, he gave his family a thumbs up from the cockpit window before takeoff. Minutes later, engine failure changed everything. In the hardest moment of their lives, his family said yes to organ donation because they knew that is what he would want.

Daniel had registered as an organ donor at 15. Through that choice, he donated his heart, liver, and two kidneys, giving others a second chance at life. In the weeks that followed, more than 2,000 people honored him through acts of kindness. His family went on to host 11 blood drives, collecting more than 700 blood products and impacting over 2,100 patients. Service became their path to healing. His decision continues to ripple outward.
