Red Blood Cells (RBCs)
Leukocyte-reduced RBCs are available across all ABO and Rh types, with washed, frozen, and deglycerolized options to support rare and transfusion-sensitive patients.
For complex cases, Versiti provides antigen-negative and rare RBC units backed by 24/7 Immunohematology Reference Laboratory support and access to the nation’s largest known genotyped donor pool, representing more than 300,000 donors.
Platelets
A comprehensive portfolio of platelet products is available to support bleeding management across routine and complex clinical scenarios, including pathogen-reduced, LVDS, cold-stored, pediatric aliquots, and HLA-matched or crossmatched units.
HLA- and HPA-Matched Platelet Products
Versiti offers HLA-matched platelets and HPA-matched platelets to support patients with alloimmune needs. To request matched platelets, submit a written order. Availability and turnaround times depend on patient refractoriness and current inventory. When compatible units are not available in general inventory, Versiti works to identify and recruit compatible donors.
Multiple plasma options are available including frozen, divided, cryo-poor, and liquid plasma to meet a range of clinical needs.
Cryoprecipitate (AHF)
Cryoprecipitate (AHF) provides concentrated clotting factors, including fibrinogen, to support patients with specific bleeding disorders or critical bleeding. Versiti offers both single-unit and pooled cryoprecipitate options to support a range of clinical needs.
Low Titer O Whole Blood (LTOWB)
Group O Low Titer Whole Blood contains red blood cells, platelets, and plasma in a single unit to support rapid transfusion for bleeding patients. By providing multiple components together, LTOWB can streamline transfusion workflows and reduce time to treatment—an important consideration in emergent care.
