Chase Hansen was enjoying the life of a typical college student when his health took an unexpected turn. He had been diagnosed with leukemia. Chase was taken to the James Comprehensive Cancer Center at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
While he was there, he received several blood and platelet transfusion that helped save his life during his treatment. Now, Chase is back home and planning his future. By telling his story, he wants everyone to know that donating blood is easy and helps save lives.
