The legacy of Macy Meadows lives on. Macy died at the age of nine in 2016 from a rupture of her brain, but was able to donate her organs to save the lives of four recipients. The memory of Macy lives on as her family teamed up with Versiti to hold a blood drive in her honor to help those who rely on blood transfusions and also raise awareness on the importance of blood donation.
