Be the Cure: Pulse in Pink

This October, Versiti Blood Centers and ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis are turning Breast Cancer Awareness Month into action with Be the Cure: Pulse in Pink. The partnership supports survivors and life-saving treatment by linking blood donations to survivor-to-survivor programs.

The campaign runs from October 15 to 31 at Versiti donor centers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Donors can schedule at Versiti.org and enter the code ABCD in the appointment notes. For every eligible donation using the code, Versiti will contribute up to $10,000 to ABCD’s survivor-to-survivor programs.

Partnering with ABCD for Be the Cure: Pulse in Pink is personal for me and for many whose cancer journeys have been sustained by the quiet heroism of strangers who give.”

The initiative highlights a constant blood need, intensified by cancer treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, and transplants. By tying a routine act of generosity to support for survivors and those in treatment, Be the Cure: Pulse in Pink makes the impact tangible. ABCD’s programs provide connection, resources, and practical assistance for people facing breast cancer.
