Organ and Tissue Donation

Dionne’s health was growing worse as her kidneys began to fail. Thanks to a kind donor, she received the transplant she needed. Now, Dionne is happy, healthy and will forever be grateful for her lifesaving donor. “You never know who you’re going to help,” she says. “It could be the best gift you could give a stranger.”

Every 10 minutes, someone is added to the organ transplant waiting list.

Approximately 113,000 men, women, and children are waiting for life-saving organ transplants. One organ donor has the power to save up to eight lives and change the outcomes of someone’s world forever by giving them a second chance.
