VBRI’s Histology core is led by an experienced, board-certified histologist who operates a fully equipped histology laboratory. The Core provides support for tissue sample preparation, including processing, embedding, microtomy (sectioning), and staining. Our capabilities extend to advanced methods such as CryoJane tape transfer and a range of specialized histochemical stains.
To ensure the best possible results, we encourage investigators to consult with our team regarding optimal fixation protocols prior to collecting specimens. Our staff is committed to collaborating closely with users to optimize sample preparation and ensure the highest quality outcomes
To access Histology core services via the iLab platform, choose “Request Services” and “Histology.” Core staff will develop a specific plan with the user.
