BY ENTERING (OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING) IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH CREATE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, SUCH CONTRACT INCLUDES A CLASS ACTION WAIVER AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.

ELIGIBILITY: Versiti’s Ride to Save Lives Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal U.S. residents of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and have reached the age of majority in their respective states of residence. The following are not eligible: (i) employees, officers, directors, agents, independent contractors, and representatives of Sponsor and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, wholesalers, retailers, distributers, advertising, and promotion agencies; (ii) senior leadership of entities or organizations with contractual agreements in place with Versiti for blood-related products or services, as well as employees of such entities or organizations who had or have responsibility for negotiating such contractual agreements; and (iii) the immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, daughter, son, step-father, step-mother, step-daughter, step-son, step-brother, step-sister, half-brother, half-sister) and/or those living in the same household of any persons under (i) and (ii) above. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulations. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these terms and conditions and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Central (“CT”) on June 1, 2023 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CT) on June 30, 2023. Two (2) winners will be randomly selected on or around July 5, 2023

HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes: (1) by donating or attempting to donate at a Versiti Blood Center donor center or mobile blood drive located in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois during the Sweepstakes Period; or (2) by submitting an online Sweepstakes entry during the Sweepstakes Period. The choice of entry method will not affect an entrant’s chances of winning.

1. To enter by donating: Donate or attempt to donate at a Versiti Blood Center donor center or mobile blood drive located in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois during the Sweepstakes Period. (For locations, please visit Versiti.org.) Donors will be tracked by Sponsor and will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes after their donation. Specifically, eligible entrants who donate during the Sweepstakes Period will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. To be a donor, individuals must meet the minimum qualifications to donate. (Please visit Versiti.org for donor requirements.)
2. To enter without donating (“AMOE”): Eligible entrants may enter the Sweepstakes without a blood donation by doing the following: Visit Versiti.org/ride and fill out the entry form online during the Sweepstakes Period. By completing the online form, you will receive one entry into the Sweepstakes.

Limit one (1) entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different addresses or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Entries submitted by anyone other than the entrant are void. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries for entrants. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, damaged, or postage-due mailed entries.

PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Two (2) entrants will be randomly selected as potential winners of the Sweepstakes. Each of the potential winners will receive the following prize: One (1) 2023 Harley-Davidson^® Low Rider S (ARV: $18,199).

Prize Details and Information: Each winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including incremental income taxes; license, title, and registration fees; insurance; any optional or required safety equipment; and any other expenses related to acceptance and use of the motorcycle (“Vehicle”) prize. Sponsor makes no representations regarding the tax liability associated with any prize, and winner is advised to seek counsel regarding any tax liabilities associated with his/her prize. Each Vehicle will be awarded solely with any express written limited warranties set forth by the manufacturer in the Vehicle’s applicable Owner’s Guide (if any), in which case any such warranties shall run for the term set forth in said Guide. Apart from any potentially applicable manufacturer warranties (if any), each Vehicle will be awarded on an “AS-IS” basis without warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind by the Releasees (as defined below), express or implied, in fact or in law, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, safety, legality for use in the winner’s jurisdiction of residence, durability, reliability, mechanical condition, and/or performance.

The Vehicle chosen by the potential winner will be made available at an authorized Harley-Davidson^® dealership located within the state associated with the prize drawing, as selected by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. Each winner (or winner’s designated representative) may be required to present a valid motorcycle driver’s license and evidence of insurance as a condition of acceptance of Vehicle. Winner (or winner’s designated representative) must take delivery of his/her Vehicle within 30 days of notice of availability (i.e., date on which Sponsor notifies winner that Vehicle has arrived at Sponsor-selected dealer). If a winner does not take delivery of a Vehicle within such 30-day period or otherwise fails to satisfy the requirements set forth in these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from among the remaining applicable eligible entries. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash redemptions or substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value, should a prize become unavailable for any reason, including but limited to Vehicle production or supply-chain delays. Any prize details and restrictions not specified will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace or repair any prize which, after winner accepts delivery, is lost, stolen, or damaged. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of a prize (or any substitution prize) will not be awarded, and no such requests will be honored. Similarly, if the ARV of the Vehicle chosen by the winner is less than the ARV of a Vehicle not chosen by the winner, the difference in ARV will not be awarded to the winner, and no such claims will be honored. Prize consists only of items specifically listed as part of the prize. All costs and expenses not specified herein related to any prize or incurred by accepting the prize, including but not limited to costs associated with arranging transportation of the Vehicle from the authorized Harley-Davidson^® dealership to winner’s residence or chosen location, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Limit one (1) prize per person and/or household.

ODDS OF WINNING, WINNER SELECTION, AND NOTIFICATION: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

The potential winners will be selected randomly. Each potential winner will be notified via phone and/or email on or about the applicable drawing date (using information provided to Sponsor or via the online entry form) to verify his/her eligibility and ability to accept the prize, and to obtain his/her complete contact information. Any such message will instruct the potential winner to reply as specified within five (5) full business days after the time that the message was left or sent. Potential winner must reply as instructed to identify him/herself, confirm his/her eligibility and ability to accept the prize, and provide his/her complete contact information within such five (5) full business day period, or he/she will be disqualified. Each potential winner will subsequently be required to complete an affidavit/certification of eligibility, a liability release, and (where legal) a publicity release, which must be returned within the time period specified by Sponsor at the time of such request. Each winner will also be required to return a properly completed IRS W-9 form within the time period specified by Sponsor, and each such winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 issued in his/her name for the fair market value of prize received. Proof of identity, age, and legal residence may be required to claim a prize. Any winner or potential winner may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion if: (a) he/she fails to reply or to provide any required information or properly completed documents within the required time period; (b) he/she fails to comply with any of the terms of these Official Rules; or (c) if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable. In the event of disqualification of any winner, at Sponsor’s sole discretion the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner selected from among the remaining applicable eligible entries via the means of winner determination described herein, pending verification of eligibility. If any prize remains unclaimed after three (3) potential winners have been notified for that prize, the prize may remain unawarded, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any incorrect or missing contact information associated with an entry, or for any change of contact information of entrant after entry submission. Upon winner confirmation, Sponsor will provide information to winner on expected delivery date of Vehicle and how to obtain the Vehicle prize. PLEASE NOTE: Delivery of Vehicle may be delayed due to supply chain issues or other reasons. In such event, Sponsor will communicate with winner regarding expected delivery date.

PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes winner’s consent that his or her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data may be used for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation and without additional notice, compensation, or consent.

RELEASE: By entering, entrant agrees to accept and abide by the Official Rules of this Sweepstakes and agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this Sweepstakes, rule interpretation, or award of prize shall be submitted to Sponsor, whose decision shall be binding and final. By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Harley-Davidson^®, participating dealers and retailers, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors and promotional and other vendor agencies, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service agencies, independent contractors, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of any of the above organizations (“Releasees”) from any injury, loss or damage to person, including death, or property due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance or use/misuse of a prize, participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, or participation in the Sweepstakes. Entrant hereby agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Releasees against any and all third party claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, arising out of or related to any breach by the entrant of any provision of this document, including, without limitation, entrant’s representations and warranties.

ADDITIONAL RULES: Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of a prize, including erroneous appearance of qualification for the prize, and under no circumstances will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, cancel, or suspend this Sweepstakes, or to amend the Official Rules at any time, without prior individual notice, should any factor interfere with the administration, security, or proper play of this Sweepstakes as contemplated by these Official Rules. If for any reason Sponsor is prevented from continuing with this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is severely undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, earthquake, pandemic, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes without further obligation. If Sponsor in its discretion elects to so abbreviate the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the Prize from among all eligible entries received to date. All entries are the physical property of Sponsor and are not returnable.

DISPUTES / CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this SWEEPSTAKES or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in WISCONSIN, (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees, (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages, including without limitation, lost profits, may be awarded (collectively, “Special Damages”), and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to such damages multiplied or increased. WISCONSIN law, without reference to choice of law rules, governs the SWEEPSTAKES and all aspects related thereto.

PRIVACY: As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that personally identifiable information submitted as part of an entry will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, select the winners, and fulfill the prizes. Such information may be shared with Sponsor’s agents and affiliates as necessary to administer the Sweepstakes and fulfill the prizes. Information will be treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at www.versiti.org/privacy-policy.
